Mt. Tremper Arts studio seen from the garden
Mt. Tremper Arts was founded by choreographer Aynsley Vandenbroucke and photographer Mathew Pokoik to serve as a center for exploration within the fields of movement and photography.
Mt. Tremper Arts fulfills this mission by holding events that give time and space for in-depth work and dialogue. These events, curated by the directors, include performances, exhibitions, educational programs, online discussions, and residency opportunities. Mt. Tremper Arts also occasionally provides low cost space rental for events that fall under its mission.
Located in the Catskill Mountains on wooded grounds with hiking trails, gardens, and streams, Mt. Tremper Arts is a place in which to create and connect with the natural world. The center is accessible by car and bus and is 2 1/2 hours from New York City, close to the towns of Woodstock and Phoenicia.
